Help Us Give Our Beautiful Mom the Homegoing She Deserves
On Sunday morning, August 30, our family received a phone call that changed our lives forever. We were told that my mom was not breathing.
My mom was such a beautiful person inside and out. She was happy, loving, and had a smile that could light up the world. Her confidence was everything, and she had a way of filling an empty space in your heart and turning any frown upside down. If you ever had the chance to meet my mom, then you know what a beautiful soul she truly is. If you didn’t get the chance to meet her, you truly missed someone special.
When my mom arrived at the hospital, she still had a pulse, but shortly after, she went into cardiac arrest. The medical team was able to bring her back, but she then went into cardiac arrest again.
My mom is a fighter. Everyone who knows her knows that if she were awake and aware, she would be fighting with everything in her to get up and go home. Unfortunately, we have now received the heartbreaking news that my mom has been pronounced brain dead.
Our family is devastated and still trying to process this unimaginable situation. We have been hit with something we never expected, and on top of the emotional pain of facing the loss of our mother, we have learned that she does not have life insurance.
We are asking for help during this extremely difficult and unforeseen time to raise money for my mother’s funeral and give her the homegoing she deserves.
