Our hearts are completely broken as we prepare to lay our beautiful baby girl, Ja’Leia Sadé Sherwood, to rest. After fighting so hard for two months, our precious baby girl gained her angel wings far too soon. As if losing our baby girl wasn’t heartbreaking enough, our family was also affected by the severe storm that happened the very same day. Our basement flooded, and we were left without power for two weeks, all while trying to cope with the unimaginable loss of our baby girl.
This has been an overwhelming and devastating time for our entire family. No parent should ever have to plan a funeral for their child while facing so many unexpected hardships at once.
