She was not just a daughter. She was a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a sister, and a precious part of our family. She was someone who was loved deeply and whose presence brought meaning to the lives of so many people around her.
Audrina lived with autism and epilepsy and experienced many seizures throughout her life. Despite the challenges she faced, she was here, she was loved, and she mattered. Her life was precious, and her loss has left a pain that words simply cannot describe.
Her passing happened suddenly and unexpectedly in Texas, leaving our family completely devastated. We are now facing the heartbreaking reality that we may not have the financial ability to travel to Texas to say goodbye, hold her one last time, and be there to honor her life.
For her family, being there is not simply about attending a funeral. It is about having the opportunity to gather together, mourn her, celebrate the life she lived, and say the goodbye that none of us were prepared to say.
Most importantly, we are raising funds to support her mother Stephanie, who is facing an unimaginable heartbreak. Due to a custody situation, she was not even informed by her daughter’s father that her daughter had passed away. Imagine having to find out that your child is gone and then trying to navigate the grief, funeral arrangements, and expenses that follow. No mother should ever have to face that alone, she didn’t get to hold her or kiss her or even say goodbye.
We are asking for help because right now our family needs one another, and we need the kindness of others.
The funds raised will help our family with the cost of traveling to Texas for sweet Audrina’s funeral. Any remaining funds will go directly toward helping her mother with funeral expenses and other immediate needs as she tries to navigate this unimaginable loss.
