With broken hearts, we share the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Zander Charley McCaw on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Zander was just 16 years old—a young man full of life, love, and big dreams. Losing him so suddenly has left our family shattered, and we’re still trying to understand how to move forward without him.
Zander had a spark that you couldn’t miss. He was funny, smart, driven, and full of so much light. He had a gift for making people laugh and lifting the mood of any room he walked into. He loved soccer, had a strong sense of determination, and talked often about his dream of becoming an architect. He had a bright future ahead of him, and it’s hard to put into words just how deeply he’ll be missed.
This fundraiser has been set up to help our family with the unexpected cost of funeral and memorial expenses. No one is ever prepared to say goodbye to someone so young, and we want to do everything we can to support Zander’s parents, Adria and James McCaw, as they face the most painful time of their lives.
To Adria and James: there are no words big enough to carry this kind of heartbreak. Please know you are surrounded by love, and that we are all here, standing with you, holding you close in our hearts. Zander was truly special, and the impact he made in his short life will never be forgotten.
