Help Support The Bracey Family Through This Difficult Time
We are asking for help for Lori, as she faces an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking transition.
Her husband, Chuck, is currently receiving end-of-life care for advanced Alzheimer’s. He is not expected to survive more than the next few days. For a long time, Lori has devoted herself to being his sole caregiver, providing him with the love, care, and support he has needed throughout his illness.
Because she has been his full-time caregiver, the income that currently supports her comes through his care. When he passes away, that income will stop. While she is grieving the loss of her husband, she will also be faced with the difficult reality of finding employment and rebuilding her financial stability.
We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of his cremation and to provide Lori with some financial support during this transition. In lieu of flowers, any contribution—large or small—would mean so much to the family. These funds will help relieve the immediate burden of cremation expenses and give her a little breathing room while she searches for a job and works toward getting back on her feet.
This is an incredibly painful time for her, and we want her to be able to focus on saying goodbye to her husband and beginning the grieving process without the added fear of not being able to afford the necessities that come next.
