As our beloved friend and former staff member Sara and her girls walk through this unimaginable loss, we know many in the St. Joe community are asking, “How can we help?”
In lieu of a meal train—which is complicated by dietary needs—and out of respect for Sara’s request that all memorial gifts in Ray’s honor be directed to Central Ministries (if you can only give to one effort, we ask that you give to the memorial at Central . Our intent is not to overstep Sara’s wishes and Ray’s memory. But if you can give to both, this is a great way), we at St. Joe want to offer something different: a gift of rest and renewal.
This fund will be used to send Sara and the girls on a weekend getaway—at a time and place of their choosing—so they can step away, even if just briefly, to breathe, reflect, and be together.
It’s a simple gesture from the many who love them:
A space to pause in the midst of heartache, to simply be together.
