My name is Tori, and my father, Roberto, had to retire early in 2020 due to tuberculosis. It got worse and developed into cancer. Since then, his health has been declining. Surgeries, chemotherapy, endless medications. His doctor has recently decided to transition him to hospice care, and has given him about 6 months to live.
He has little money to his name, as his early retirement has left him with nothing, and his medical costs have only gotten more expensive.
These events have been an emotional and financial burden on our family, as I personally have been rejected leave by my work for his necessary 24/7 care, and am facing the consequences of potential unemployment because of it.
Anything helps, and all proceeds will go to the down payment of the funeral/memorial services.
