I am creating this fundraiser for Polo Barbosa, our beloved family member, after his passing on September 2, 2026, on a Wednesday afternoon at Hurwitz Park. This loss has been deeply heartbreaking for all of us. What happened was especially traumatic because our little ones witnessed it and were left scared and crying. My dad received a call and then learned it was his cousin’s brother, Polo, who also worked with my dad. Since that moment, our family has been trying to process this sudden and painful loss while also supporting each other through the shock and grief.
I am asking for help so that the funds can go mostly toward Polo’s funeral expenses and support only his family during this incredibly difficult time. Any support, no matter the size, would mean so much to us and would help ease some of the financial burden as Polo’s loved ones focus on mourning and honoring his life.
