It started small. She’d say she was tired. Her back ached, her legs felt heavy. We brushed it off at first; maybe she was just overworked. But the pain got worse. Then came the tests, the hospital visits, and the diagnosis with cancer . Since then, I’ve watched my mum fade from the vibrant woman I knew to someone who now needs help to even get out of bed.
It’s been hard. Emotionally, yes, but also financially. The hospital bills, the medication, the transport, the back-and-forth to clinics… it’s overwhelming. Sometimes I feel like I’m trying to be strong for both of us. And I try, I really do, but there are moments when it gets too heavy.
I miss how things used to be. I miss her laughter, her stories, even her gentle scolding. But I also see a new kind of strength in her. Even in her pain, she still asks how I’m doing. She still prays for us. She still believes things will get better.
That’s why I’m here reaching out.
If you’re reading this and feel moved in any way, I’m kindly asking for your support. We’re trying to raise funds to help cover her medical bills and keep her treatment going. Every little bit helps, and I’ll be deeply grateful for anything you can give. Even just sharing this message would mean a lot.
This isn’t easy for me to ask, but love makes you humble. And I love my mum more than anything.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring to help my mum ❤️
