My name is Stephanie, and I am raising funds to honor my mom’s memory with the tombstone she deserves. My mom was a single mother of three who spent most of our lives making sure we got by, even when we were living paycheck to paycheck. Just before Covid, she was diagnosed with bile duct cancer, and what followed was a heartbreaking battle filled with back-and-forth hospital stays. One of the hardest parts was that family visits were not allowed, which made an already painful time feel even more isolating. She passed away six years ago, and while she had a small life insurance policy, it was only enough to cover her funeral expenses.
Since then, this has stayed on my heart. Her birthday is in February, and I would really love to finally get this done for her and for our family. All funds raised will go toward her tombstone, installation, and any other related expenses. My mom gave everything she had to make sure her children were cared for, and I want to give her this lasting memorial in return.
