Hello my name is Jennifer as you most know. Back in nov 2009 i had the loss of my daughter Bella and I decided to adopt a pup from the shelter to help me with post partum and anxiety and deppression. He was this lil chihuahua, 6 mo old, found running the streets of port st lucie florida. When i saw him i immediately fell in love with him, and i decided to adopt him. I had to wait for meet and greets and hope that the real owner didnt show as bad as that sounds. Bugt the day came and Nov 30 2009 I received the call that he was clear for pick up. So he came home. Since that day my life has been blessed with my loyal companion. My heart never skipped a beat. He kept me on my toes, and kept my mind clear. I was in love. Fast forward 16 years later , after a love filled life and full of silly “wth” moments, the time has come. He has become blind, deaf and with arthritis, this morning 6/10/25 i was woken up by my lil man choking and throwing up and seizing. his neck swelled up and his throat was closing. Rushed him to the Vet , when i got the most heartbreaking news i could ever get. Treatment would be pocket breaking and would only prolong the inevitable. He would decline fast . And treatment would be for nothing. His quality of life was not good he was in pain. So with the worst heartache of my life, i beg for his forgiveness, told him how much i loved him and i stopped his pain and suffering.
“As much as i hate to ask for help, i have to. ” My husband is working 15+ hrs overnights in a hazardous enviroment, only to pay our home and bills and not have a dime extra to save. I lost my job and havent been able to find a new one. We need to raise $700 to pay the vet bill for him to be released and cremated and come back home. Anything helps and i will send thank you trinckets to all donors.
