Jimmy Adams was my brother, and our family is heartbroken by how suddenly we lost him. Jimmy was only 48 years old and had lived in Martinsville his whole life. He was a good man who was friends with everybody, and he was always willing to help anyone he could. Jimmy loved his kids and grandkids very much, and he also loved his cars and trucks. He meant so much to so many people, and his loss has left an ache in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Jimmy was shot and taken by ambulance to the hospital. From there, he was life lined to Methodist Hospital for major surgery, but sadly, he passed away. This tragedy has left our family facing so many unexpected expenses on top of our grief. The funds from this fundraiser will help cover the cost of the ambulance ride, lifeline transport, the surgery he had, his medical bills, and the expenses to lay him to rest, including a grave spot and tombstone.
Jimmy spent his life caring about others, and now his family is asking for help during one of the hardest times we have ever faced.
