Our family is heartbroken by the unexpected loss of George. George was Ava’s father, and Ava is Allen’s fiancée. He was also Karmen’s son and an important part of the family’s daily life. George had been battling organ failure and was waiting for transplants, but before those transplants could happen, he became extremely ill and sadly passed away despite every effort to save him. This loss has been devastating for Ava, Karmen, and everyone who loved him. He meant so much to his family, and the pain of losing him so suddenly has left them grieving while also trying to make urgent arrangements. Right now, the hospital cannot keep George, so the family is under immediate pressure to put him to rest as soon as possible. In the middle of this heartbreak, Karmen is carrying so much stress and needs the chance to rest, grieve, and begin recovering from this painful loss.
This fundraiser is being created to help George’s family give him the peaceful farewell he deserves and to make sure Karmen and Ava are not facing this burden alone. Donations will go toward funeral and memorial costs, help support Karmen as she transitions through this loss, and ease other financial burdens the family is carrying right now. George was also a caregiver for Karmen, which makes this loss even more difficult. On top of that, the family has not been able to access George’s accounts to cover needed expenses, and they learned that his life insurance had been terminated. Any support helps.
