I am creating this fundraiser for my family after the loss of my dad, Daryl. Daryl had stage 5 kidney failure, and during the final months of his life he lived in a hospice care facility. While he was there, I and other members of my family cut back our work hours so we could spend time with him, help him with essentials, and be there to support him in every way we could. After everything our family has been through, losing him has been heartbreaking, and now we are also facing serious financial hardship.
Since my dad passed away on August 28, we have been left with unexpected funeral costs, household bills, and other urgent needs. We have already had to take out personal loans just to cover some of these expenses, and the weight of it has been overwhelming. I do not usually ask for help, but right now I truly need support. This type of support will be very helpful to us, and it would be nice to not have to worry so much about financial hardships during this painful time. Any donation, no matter the size, will help my family pay for Daryl’s funeral expenses, catch up on bills, and get through this painful time with a little less stress.
