Courtney is asking for help for Yvonne, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished “mawmaw” whose passing last night has left her family heartbroken. Yvonne was a loving and caring person who welcomed everyone she met with kindness, no matter who they were. In Valley, Alabama, so many people knew her through her years as a substitute teacher and through her more than 20 years working in the Walmart garden center. She was a light in the lives of her family, friends, coworkers, students, and community, and she will be missed more than words can say.
