For Lourdes Reyes
Lourdes Reyes was my friend’s mother, and she was the kind of person who spent so much of her life helping others. Frances remembers Lourdes as someone who gave from the heart, always showing up when people were in need. When a family in the community lost a loved one, Lourdes would go door to door asking for donations to help them financially. She also gave so much to her children and grandchildren, and she loved people deeply. Lourdes was a good woman who was truly loved by her family and by the community around her.
Her passing was sudden, and the family was not financially prepared for this loss. They live on a fixed income, and most of what they have goes toward rent, bills, and everyday living expenses, leaving very little left over. Every single penny raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward Lourdes Reyes’s burial and funeral expenses. Frances is asking for support from everyone who can help. If possible, please consider donating at least $20 and sharing this fundraiser with others. The family is truly in need, and Lourdes gave so much to so many people.
