Honoring the Life of Dwana Lane Davis
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Dwana Lane Davis on March 18, 2025. She was 69 years young, born on June 6, 1955—a strong, bold, and unapologetic woman who lived life on her terms.
Dwana was the glue that held the family together. She was a loving mother to Jason, Heather, and Amber, who we lost too soon in 2000. Through heartbreak and struggle, Dwana remained a pillar of love and resilience, opening her home to her children, grandchildren, and anyone who needed a warm meal and a safe place. Dwana had her very own opinions about just about everything and she sure was not affraid to tell ya’ll about it either. She will be missed dearly
She spent the last 24 years with Terry Marinan, a man who stood by her side through everything, honoring the true meaning of love and commitment all the way till her last breath. Though she may be gone, she leaves behind a family and community who adored her, and we want to give her the farewell she deserves.
As we navigate this painful loss, we are reaching out to friends and loved ones to help us cover funeral expenses. Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to us. If you’re unable to give, sharing this post would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for loving Dwana as much as we do. She always said, “Aren’t ya glad you met me?” And the answer will always be yes.
