Dear friends, family, and community, Brandy is raising funds for their beloved mother, who is spending her final days at home on hospice care in Spokane Valley. Born and raised in Louisiana, she spent more than 35 years as a professional chef, pouring heart, soul, and incredible talent into every meal she made. Her extraordinary gifts even took her to the highest tables in the nation, where she had the honor of serving three former United States Presidents. But for all she accomplished, her greatest joy was feeding the people she loved most: family, friends, and neighbors. She has lived a beautiful, generous life filled with comfort, care, and love shared through food.
Now, as this deeply tender time unfolds, her family is facing the reality of final expenses without the support of life insurance. This fundraiser will help cover basic final arrangements, including cremation or burial, as well as a simple and loving memorial service where those who loved her can gather to share stories, recipes, and memories, and celebrate the legacy she leaves behind. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease this financial burden so the family can focus on keeping her comfortable and peaceful in her final hours and honoring her life with dignity.
