Hello everyone!
My name is Pia, and I am writing this with a heavy heart as our family is currently facing one of the biggest challenges in our lives.
My dad, Eric Bonite, is the heart of our family. He’s a devoted father, a loving husband, and the kind of man who always brings joy on every occasion. If you’ve met him, you’d know he is always prepared to make anyone laugh with his jokes.
And even after getting this heavy news about his health, he has not failed to make everyone around him laugh and smile. I know he is trying to be strong for us, but right now, he needs all the help he can get.
My dad recently suffered a Myocardial Infarction, more commonly known as a heart attack. After several tests, his doctors recommended that he undergo revascularization through Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) as soon as possible to prevent the risk of another heart attack or worse. Unfortunately, the medical expense of this procedure in the Philippines is high, and for the surgery alone, we will need around 2 million pesos (approximately $35,000 USD).
My family is doing everything we can to raise the funds for his surgery and medication, but with the cost of his medical care, including his current hospital stay, prescriptions, and treatments adding up quickly, we are now struggling to keep up financially. The financial burden is overwhelming and beyond what we can afford. This is why we are humbly reaching out to kind-hearted friends, family, and anyone who may be able to help us during this difficult time.
Any amount you can give means more to us than words can express. Your generosity not only helps us financially but also gives us the emotional lift we need to stay strong.
