Allison is raising funds for her brother, John, who passed away suddenly at just 50 years old, far from home. John had been living with MS and sarcoidosis, illnesses that affected his body, his mind, his relationships, and so much of his life. His story was complicated, and so was life at times, but grief does not care about complicated. John was still Allison’s brother, and now she is facing the painful reality of losing him while he is still in Oregon and she is in Pennsylvania, trying to bring him home and give him the dignity of a proper goodbye.
This fundraiser will help cover the cost of bringing John home, along with funeral and final expenses. Allison never wanted to have to ask for help in this way, but this is more than she can carry alone.
