Dear brothers and sisters in uniform,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and deep respect for our shared bond. This Father’s Day, I lost my grandfather- a man who helped shape who I am today. He meant the world to my mother, who means everything to me. Unfortunately, he passed away in Atlanta, and our family is trying to bring him home to Philadelphia so we can lay him to rest with his wife like he wanted.
The cost to transport his body is $2,500, and right now, my family and I are struggling to cover this unexpected expense. I’m humbly asking my fellow service members, veterans, and anyone willing to help to contribute whatever they can to help us bring him home.
Every donation, no matter how small, means the world. Also if you have any additional information on any services that can help as far as transportation would be greatly appreciated
