Hi, my name is Chelsea Wilsey. I’m a single mother of two, and today I’m reaching out with the heaviest heart I’ve ever known.
Early this morning, I lost my father—Mark Wilsey Sr.—suddenly and unexpectedly. He wasn’t just my dad… he was my rock, my support system, and the man who made sure my kids and I had a roof over our heads by letting us rent his guest house. We had no warning, no time to prepare, and unfortunately, he didn’t leave behind any burial plans or financial instructions.
I’m trying to raise enough to give him the kind of farewell he deserves—nothing extravagant, just a dignified service and a proper burial. The total cost for the arrangements is around $15,500. Every dollar raised will go directly to his final expenses. If by some miracle the anything is left over, it will go toward keeping a roof over my children’s heads during this time of transition and grief.
