As most of you know Ray Johnson was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer this year. He started struggling to keep food and drinks down and had to get a feeding tube placed. Ray started chemo treatments but was only able to successfully do two treatments, unfortunately his white blood count was to low, preventing him to do more treatments. Wednesday morning an ambulance was called to pick Ray up because he was passing blood and struggling to stand/walk. The hospital did CT scans and found bleeding on his stomach. Ray had 2 blood transfusions and was struggling to keep his heart rate and blood pressure regulated. Ray eventually made the decision that he no longer wanted to suffer from his cancer and told the doctors he was ready to go to heaven. He was placed in hospice care where they made him very comfortable and he died peacefully. Ray did not have any life insurance so we have decided to raise money for his funeral and unpaid medical expenses. Thank you in advance. Ray was very loved and will be missed tremendously.
