My dear friend Brittany Mosteller and her two little boys (both under 5) are facing an unimaginable loss. On Father’s Day (June 15) her partner, Jose Perotta-Jiminez, passed away at just 32 years old after a heartbreaking and aggressive return of cancer.
These last few weeks were incredibly difficult. Brittany spent the last month by his side in the hospital, fiercely advocating for his care and doing everything she could to fight for him. Her strength, love, and loyalty never wavered.
Jose was more than her partner. He was Brittany’s best friend and the most devoted father to their two boys. They celebrated 10 beautiful years together, celebrating their anniversary on June 14th. They built a life filled with love, laughter, and memories that now feel heartbreakingly short. He adored Brittany and their boys, and that love was the center of their world.
Now, Brittany is left to raise their sons on her own, facing a future she never could have imagined. This fundraiser is to help support her with immediate living expenses and provide a small cushion as she begins to navigate life without Jose.
