Hi everyone!
It’s that time of year again— my brother’s 4th birthday among the stars. As you may know by now, every year for his birthday month I set up a fundraiser to raise money for animal shelters in need. Over the past 3 years we’ve been able to donate over $1800 to several shelters and rescues in memory of John. What a blessing it is to be able to do this as a way to remember him…and it’s all because of all your generosity!
This year I was thinking of doing something a little different. Round Hill Park holds a special place in my family’s heart, it’s always been a place we frequented as a family, walking around and seeing the animals, taking in the scenery, and making memories that mean a lot more now. So this year for John’s birthday I wanted to collect donations to give back to a place that my brother really loved. If you’re unfamiliar with this park, rest assured that your donation will still be going to help animals, just as a John would have wanted. The park has an array of animals, horses, chickens, cows, even alpacas. These animals also deserve to be cared for and loved on, and the park as a whole deserves to be preserved so many other families, and brothers and sisters, can make lifelong memories.
