We have started this fundraiser in order to help a family that is in desperate need.
Several months ago, Colin ‘Coach’ Cummins and his family were hit with an unexpected blow with Colin being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Their world has since been turned upside down with doctors’ appointments, blood work, scans, chemo treatments along with all of the other stress that comes along with a cancer diagnosis.
Through all of this, ‘Coach Colin’ as he is lovingly known by his baseball team, has selflessly shown up for practices, with his chemo port on, team tournaments, games etc. and also been there for team family members who were going through their own situations. Always worrying about the team and others before himself.
Its time to give back to Coach Colin during his time of need. This diagnosis has caused an enormous financial strain on the family and, as you can imagine, Coach has had to take significant time off work and will have to continue to do so while he fights the fight.
There’s not a lot most of us can do to help him medically, but if you can help in any way to ease the financial strain, I’m sure it would be greatly appreciated by him and his family!
