In Loving Memory of Cheryl Leckey
Created by Tanya Corona
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Cheryl Leckey — a beautiful soul, a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
I’m Tanya, Cheryl’s daughter-in-law. I’ve had the honor of knowing her for 16 years. In that time, she became so much more than family — she was a source of love, laughter, and warmth in all of our lives. She adored her grandchildren and took great joy in watching them grow. Her laugh could fill a room, and her heart had room for everyone.
Cheryl is survived by her parents, Rosemary and Richard; her brothers, Rick and Howard; and her children, Amy, Angelo, and David. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Miriam, Augustino, Constatine, and Eduardo Jimenez; Lily and Ivy Corona; and her great-grandson, Antonio Jimenez.
The past few years were not easy for Cheryl as she battled declining health, but through it all, her strength and love for her family never wavered. Her passing has left an ache in our hearts, and now we are faced with the unexpected costs of laying her to rest.
As some of you know, our family has faced a number of challenges this year — including Lily’s hospitalization for a serious illness. We are doing all we can, but we now find ourselves in need of help to cover Cheryl’s cremation and celebration of life. We want to honor her with the dignity and love she so deeply deserves.
We are humbly asking for any support you can offer. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping our family in your thoughts — we are grateful. Your kindness means more than words can express.
Thank you for loving Cheryl and for being part of our extended community.
With love,
Tanya and the Corona Family
