Hello, my name is Jamiilynn and the sweet lady in the picture is my mother. She has passed away from a very hard battle with brain cancer. For 5 years, she fought hard for her life and her dedication has not gone unnoticed. She raised 4 kids on her own. We were not easy as teenagers, but there is one thing we all did: we loved her. She was an avid traveler, going to such places as Alaska, Africa, Hawaii, Yellowstone, The Grand Canyon, Mexico, and many more. In high school, she was on the track team, was in Bye Bye Birdie, was the light of her class, and made friendships that lasted to the very end. She was #2 of 6 girls in her family, which, if anybody knows, being in a family of girls is not always easy. She married her high school boyfriend, my father, which resulted in a divorce after many years of abuse. She fought for our rights, took us to therapy, and made sure we never felt unloved.
But with all that, we have run into a snag: funeral expenses. It takes a lot to bury the one person you thought would never pass away. We just want to honor the life she lived to the fullest and give her what she wants. She had 3 babies die in infancy, and her mother died in 2001, and she wants to be buried with them. Please help make that a reality.
