Celebrate William Boswell Jr.’s Life: Final Preparations

Main fundraiser photo

William Boswell, Jr.(affectionately known as “Mouse”)truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: playing and listening to music, talking to friends at the radio station, the tire shop on Rosa Parks, and reading a good book.

William received his formal education at an early age from Lutheran School, and secondary education from Sidney Lanier High School. During his high school years he developed a lifelong love of music and excelled to a professional level as an Announcer and DJ. After graduation he attended Alexander City Jr. College. His career started at WXVI Radio Station where he worked with many well known music personalities such as Tom Joyner, with whom he later traveled to Chicago, Illinois to further his career. Many enjoyed his morning show, “Mouse in the Morning” on WXVI Radio with the beats that united us all. He also cultivated a symphony of memories downstairs in the Elks Club playing our favorite tunes.

Our dad passed away and we would like to ask for your help with his final preparations. Every donation will be greatly appreciated. If you feel more comfortable giving directly to the funeral home, please reach out to Mr. Joe Kendrick at Ross Clayton on Adams Ave (334) [phone redacted] or to Greenwood Cemetery. Other options:

-Cashapp: $Sqwrl33

Thoughts, kind words, prayers, hugs, etc are also appreciated and VERY welcome.

‘Thank you so much in advance

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
