Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved Maria Cecilia “Cecy” Solis Castro who bravely fought cancer until the very end. She was a source of love, strength, and inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
As my aunt battled this unforgiving disease, the emotional toll on our family has been immense…I am asking for your support to help ease this burden and allow to honor her memory. We decided knowing her that she would have loved that instead of her receiving flowers we would greatly appreciate the funds to be donated to a cancer organization. I love my aunt so much and my family that I decided to make this GoFundraiser account and show my love and support to them and help in any way i can with any funeral or medical expense they may have. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly donated to cover any expense and toward donating to a cancer organization.
My aunt touched so many lives and helped so many people and families .. with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering spirit. An active community member, a loving sibling, parent and grandmother, and devoted friend. Now, it’s our chance to give back to her by honoring her name.
