Hi, My name is Jon.
My Father Clarence “Jerry” G. Lichtenstern unexpectedly passed away on 03/23/25 at st. Peters hospital in olympia, wa. After we found him unresponsive in our home the day before. he was born 07/12/1943 in southern california to Helen E. and Lloyd J. Lichtenstern. being born with physical impairments that hindered most of his childhood, He never let anything stop him from living his life the way he wanted and never said “I Cant”. he did many amazing things in his life including being my Father. He lived nearly 82 years and affected many more live than just mine. selfless, kind, and generous to everyone and had so much love and respect for his family and friends.
my goal is to have him buried along side his parents in Whittier California at Rose Hills Memorial Park. That is where he deserves to be with his family.
He was everything to me and was always there for me no matter what idiotic thing I did so I wanted to do the same for him. his disabilities made it difficult for him to do most things without assistance. so my wife and I spent most of the time at home caring for him. but by doin that I was unable to find steady employment that would allow me to be there when he needed help. my Father being on disability as well as my wife we barely made ends meet. Unfortunately he had no life insurance and his death being so sudden we were not prepared financially to cover the cost and services needed to make this possible.
any help getting Jerry home to rest as soon as possible is greatly appreciated. and will not be forgotten.
thank you
