My daddy passed away on March 3rd, 2025. My family is taking it very hard. My dad didn’t want a funeral; he just wanted to be cremated with no services, just family there for the cremation. To say, my daddy hasn’t been cremated yet. The autopsy took a little bit longer than expected. He is finally in Brown County, still waiting to be cremated. The place that has him is Henderson’s Funeral Home. The cost of his cremation was already paid for, but the only problem now is the transportation cost from Dallas to Brownwood. There is a big delay on my dad’s cremation because of this. My mom doesn’t have the funds to pay this, and I don’t make enough to cover it as well. So that’s why I am trying to help my mom, because she won’t ask for help. She is a very independent woman and doesn’t want to bother anyone with her problems. I wouldn’t have even known about this, but I overheard her talking to a loan company that denied her because of income shortage that just happened due to my daddy’s passing. So all I can do is this and hope we can get my daddy cremated like he wanted and do as he wished with his body so he can rest in peace and my family can get closure finally. Please, I would be so grateful if we can help my mom in any way possible. Thank you and God bless.
