Assist Brenda in Covering Glen’s Funeral Costs

Main fundraiser photo
Hello,

My name is Brenda Skipwith, and just three days ago, I lost my husband, Glen, who was not only my best friend and life partner, my “Boo”, but also a proud U.S. Army veteran.

My husband had been battling leukemia for years — a pre-existing condition that made it nearly impossible for us to obtain an insurance provider. Despite his diagnosis, he remained strong enough to reach his remission stage, devoted, and hopeful every day. He served his country with honor, but like so many veterans, he struggled to get the coverage he deserved afterward.

His passing has left me devastated — emotionally and financially. We were already in debt due to the cost of living, and now I’m faced with the overwhelming task of navigating this loss while trying to keep our home and cover funeral expenses on my own.

I am doing everything I can, but the truth is: I need help.

Please find it in your heart to donate it would mean the world to me and my family. Your support would help cover funeral and final expenses, basic living costs, and give me a little breathing room while I figure out our next steps.

If you’re unable to give financially, please share, share, share this page so we can reach as many people as possible. Every share and prayer helps.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading and for your compassion during this incredibly difficult time.

With love and gratitude,

Brenda Skipwith

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
