Our family is living through a pain no family should ever have to experience. Our beautiful Tanaeah was only 17 years old, with her entire life ahead of her. She had dreams, a future, people who loved her deeply, and so many memories still left to make.
Tanaeah’s life was tragically taken far too soon because of someone else’s careless actions. She was simply riding in a car after leaving to get something to eat when shots were fired at the vehicle. A bullet struck the car and struck our precious Tanaeah. She suffered a devastating injury and tragically lost her life.
In a matter of moments, our entire family’s world changed forever.
No amount of money could ever bring Tanaeah back. Nothing can fill the emptiness we feel knowing that a beautiful 17-year-old girl with so much life ahead of her was taken from the people who loved her.
She should still be here.
She should still be laughing with her family and friends. She should still be making memories, celebrating milestones, chasing her dreams, and growing into the beautiful woman she was meant to become. Instead, our family is now left trying to navigate life without her.
We are raising money to help give Tanaeah the beautiful headstone and memorial she deserves. We want to create something special and meaningful a permanent place where her family and friends can visit, remember her, and honor the beautiful life that was taken far too soon.
