Hi, my name is Katelyn, and my son, Tatum, was in Emily Mayo’s 3rd grade class before she tragically passed away. A few parents and I have talked about wanting to do something special to honor Emily on behalf of the Class of 2034.
With approval from the school and Board of Education, we are raising funds to place a memorial on the playground in Emily’s memory. Whether it be a bench, tree, or butterfly garden with a special plaque.
We would love to make this special tribute for Emily and her family on behalf of our little ones. Our goal is to have this in place by the end of October, in honor of Emily’s birthday.
All donations will go directly to the BES PTO to purchase all supplies needed. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will help us create a lasting place for Emily’s classmates to remember her. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
