Help Us Give Our Dad the Headstone He Deserves
Losing my dad to cancer has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences our family has ever faced. We watched someone we loved so deeply fight such a difficult battle, and although we knew how serious his illness was, nothing could have prepared us for the pain of having to say goodbye.
My dad was more than just a father. He was a source of love, strength, guidance, and so many memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Cancer may have taken him from us physically, but it could never take away the love he gave us or the impact he made on our lives.
As we continue grieving and learning how to live without him, there is one final thing we desperately want to do: give our dad a beautiful headstone so his resting place can properly honor the life he lived.
Unfortunately, after everything our family has gone through surrounding his illness and passing, the cost of purchasing and placing a headstone is more than we can manage on our own right now. Asking for help isn’t easy, but we are reaching out to our family, friends, and community in hopes of giving him the memorial he deserves.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward his headstone and related cemetery expenses. If you aren’t in a position to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much to our family.
We want his resting place to be somewhere his children, family, and everyone who loved him can visit, bring flowers, share memories, talk to him, and feel close to him again.
After everything he endured during his battle with cancer, being able to finally place a beautiful headstone with his name would mean more to us than words can express. It would give us a permanent place to honor the man we love and make sure his memory continues to live on for generations.
