Bertha was the one who held us all together with her strength, laughter, and deep love. She was full of life, always dancing, smiling, and making everyone feel welcomed and seen. If you ever met her, you probably left with a full heart and a laugh you didn’t expect.
She was a mother to Joanna, Daisy, Jose, Luis, and Francisco, and a proud grandmother to 13 beautiful grandchildren. She was also a daughter, loving big sister, and friend to so many. Her joy was contagious, her presence unforgettable.
After suffering a sudden and devastating stroke, our mom’s passing has left a deep emptiness in our lives. We weren’t prepared to lose her so quickly, and now we’re doing our best to honor her and give her the peaceful farewell she deserves.
