Hi, my name is Vivilee, and I’m reaching out during an emotional and unexpected time in my life.
My biological father recently passed away. We didn’t have a close relationship he was incarcerated for most of my life but in the moments we did share, he always made sure I knew he loved me. I’ve carried those memories with me, and losing him like this feels like losing the chance for something more.
I’ve now been named next of kin and am responsible for arranging his cremation. The service I found in Springfield, Massachusetts costs $1,395. As a single mom doing my best to support my kids and stay afloat, I simply don’t have the funds to cover this alone.
This is one final thing I can do for him to make sure he’s laid to rest with dignity and comes home to someone who truly loved him.
If you’re able to donate or share this, it would truly mean so much to me and my family.
Thank you for reading and for any support you can give.
Dad,
I wish we had more time. I hope you knew how much I loved you, even with all the distance and silence between us. I’ll make sure you’re at peace now.
With love,
Vivilee
