Hello, my name is Krystin Hoover. I am making a fundraiser to help ease some of the pain for my family when it comes time for my mom’s passing.
On April 1st, 2025, the doctors told my momma there will be no chance for her to survive, and they would be stopping all treatments but will try and make her as comfortable as possible. One month later, she’s lost her memory, she can’t walk, and will not shower.
I want y’all to remember all the good and beautiful memories you have of my mom and keep those close forever. Cancer has killed so many people I have loved and cared about, but this one hits home! My mom and I have never seen eye to eye, but it’s time for me to put our differences aside and help as much as I can while being states away.
My dad, Doug, is completely broken and has been off work, staying home with her for a few months now. This money will help us be able to grieve and have peace, and hopefully not have to worry about the medical bills and the funeral expenses when she’s gone.
My mom was an amazing person and friend; she doesn’t deserve to die this soon, and I wish the doctors could do more. I wish I could do more, but all we can do is wait, and hopefully, when the day comes, I’ll have enough money so my family can just grieve with no stress.
