For my brother DeWayne Charleston – Support His Legacy
The sadness has passed and the joy of the Lord is here, so I share with you that my beloved brother, words I’ve never used before, DeWayne Charleston, has departed this life for the next one. He waged a 16-year battle with cancer courageously. Many never knew the battle he was waging because of how valiantly he fought. DeWayne was a fighter, and I know because most of his fights were with me, but he was indeed a light to everyone who knew him.
As many of you know, DeWayne dedicated his life to serving others—with his time, his talents, and his voice. He stood for justice, community, and compassion. Now, as we prepare to lay him to rest, we understand that there are many ways that you can show your appreciation for DeWayne. This is one way. You may choose to donate a plant or a dessert for the repast. Every donation serves to make this a greater time of rejoicing in celebrating his life. The funds donated here will aid Christian and Christopher, his daughter and son, with the costs below:
