In Memory of Duane Hellier: Support his wife, LeeAnn

Main fundraiser photo
My name is Rachael Brion. On Monday night, June 2, 2025, my brother, Duane Hellier (50), passed away suddenly.

He leaves behind his wife, LeeAnn Hellier, and 4 adult children, Brandy, Andrea, Parker, and Alex.

He worked at a wonderful company as the Director of Operations.

Duane was a very generous person. Even though he didn’t make a lot of money, he always set aside some for the winter in order to supply people with gloves, hats, scarves, and socks through the giving tree in his front yard.

Along with the giving tree, he had a Santa box in his yard where kids could write a letter to Santa. He would respond to every kid with a “Letter from Santa” while also sending the parents a separate letter with a gift card enclosed so they could have at least one gift under the tree on Christmas morning “From Santa.”

We are very saddened by his passing and are trying to navigate our way through the grieving process.

With his sudden passing, the expenses for LeeAnn are adding up quickly. We would love any amount of help that you can provide. We are not asking for much, just enough to cover the unexpected expenses.

We appreciate every one of you, and as Duane would love to have said, “Merry Christmas”…even in June!
