Support Hayden’s Family in Their Time of Loss

I took my son to the walker Baptist hospital yesterday 6/3/25 for belly pain. And they told me his stomach lining and intestines were inflamed. They told me they did a scan on his stomach and it looked to be gas. I kept pushing for us to be transferred to children’s hospital. Dr. Wilbanks in the walker Baptist hospital in the tower room 310 2nd floor told the doctors he was denying the transfer not once but twice after it was continued to be pushed for. We left the hospital at 1 am this morning 6/4/25 and 8 hours later my son was dead. I woke up with him still laying on my arm with his back flat on the bed so I would wake up when he started coughing. They told me he “should be okay till morning” when I already scheduled a appointment for him bc I don’t trust anyone. My baby was still warm, I ran to the living room with my lifeless baby and told someone to call 911 and started compressions giving him every breath I could and the only sound was a slight wheeze. We kept going nonstop till the paramedics arrived and took over compressions. Their lights and sirens were off when they pulled into the hospital, they stopped trying before we arrived. I sat in that room waiting for 45 minutes after we made it to the hospital for any update begging for an answer. They came in and told me my son was dead and refused to keep trying, they made me wait another 55 minutes before I could even see my lifeless cold baby laying on that table. Dr. Wilbanks denied his transfer twice no matter the urgency and my baby is gone forever. He was 4 months old, you killed my son and my lawyers will be coming after you and everyone who denied my babies transfer. Walker Baptist hospital sent us home!! They sent us away instead of monitoring my baby and he’s gone I’ll never hear his laugh again, I’ll never see his smile, I’ll never hear him say momma again. You took the one person away from me that matters most and always will. After my son was pronounced dead they proceeded to inform me that when I brought him in 6/3/25 that they felt masses in his stomach 3, and they sent us away. They have killed my child and I will not stop till justice is taken for Hayden. If you use Dr. Wilbanks in Jasper Alabama please please please get a new doctor or he will kill your child too. For those who wonder why I didn’t go to another hospital, my engine in my car is blew so calling ambulance was everything I could do, I asked for the transfer over and over and my son had a appointment scheduled with wilbanks the next morning for a ultrasound on my babies stomach, my baby never made it
