Hello everyone my name is Brian, i am writing this to collect funds for my grandfathers final wish as he wished to be sent back to his home town as a final resting point. My grandfather suffered a heart attack on March 5, he was admitted into Sutter Hospital and had a total of four stents placed in his arteries. During his time there he suffered a stroke which affected his visual cortex. He was discharged and was back in less than 16 hours due to another heart attack. He was rushed to Memorial Hospital where he was placed on life support and an Iapb (intra-aortic balloon pump) due to heart arrhythmia. During his last week we received great news he & his heart were doing a lot better, that was until things took a turn for the worse on March 21st, we were informed by the doctor and the cardiologist they had found dead tissue in his gut and we’re affecting his kidney and liver, unfortunately there was nothing they could do since my grandfather was on a blood thinner and he would not be able to resist the procedure. Lamentably my grandfather, lost his battle on the 22nd at 5am. Between the time of his passing and today my family and I have raised fundraisers in his memorial and are just $3400 shy of fulfilling his final wish.
